Dr. Hitesh K. Patel

A personal commitment to his patient's quality of life.

Dr. Patel understands that the discomfort of living with sleep apnea or chronic pain caused by misalignments in the head and neck is very real, but often very misunderstood. Indeed, the pain his own wife experienced, and her inability to find lasting relief from medication inspired him to continue his studies and find an effective course of treatment where others had failed. It is this intense drive to find a solution, coupled with his ability to really listen, that Dr. Patel’s patients most appreciate.

Dr. Patel's Approach

Clinically, Dr. Patel's focus is on the relief of snoring, mild to moderate sleep apnea, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome (TMJ), chronic pain and neuromuscular problems using conservative, holistically oriented methods. He seeks the most advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques available and uses non-invasive and non-surgical approaches. His expertise is in objectively documenting cranial dysfunction and correlating it with patients’ problems that may appear elsewhere. Because he uses appliances to correct misalignments that cause discomfort, he works closely with each patient’s physician to help them feel their very best.

Education and Honors

Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University in Cincinnati and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, a Diplomate of the Academy of Pain Management, and is a Fellow of the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, the International College of Dentists, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of Dentistry International, and the American College of Dentists.
